Beachy-Keen

Yesterday was absolutely gorgeous. I couldn't ask for better weather this Memorial Day weekend. With a sky that only had kites in it, Chrissy and I decided to head out of the city to the beaches of the North Shore.
We thought it might be a bit chilly by the water, but the weather was absolutely perfect. We even ventured to put our toes in the water.
I collected some crab legs for my students to study as we learn about tide pools. A nice woman walking by offered to take our picture. Her 8-year-old-son said "Do you know these people?"
Chrissy is queen of multi-tasking. When she mentioned she wanted to paint her toes on the beach I said "Is this really the best place for that?" She scoffed at me but then later admitted, with textured toes "Painting your toes on the beach is a definite beach-don't!"
Happy Memorial Day to everyone!
