Food and Friendship

I have mentioned before that I am lucky to have an amazing group of friends.

They're funny. They're intelligent. They're thoughtful.

But the other night one of my friendships was brought to a new level. While talking, this friend (who will remain nameless unless they choose to step forward) was talking to me while eating dinner. A piece of food came flying out of their mouth and was a direct shot onto my face. Half dazed and shocked, I just started to laugh. The friend then reached over to brush off the food particle, which was still stuck to my face and said "It was still there."

Now that my friends, is friendship.
