You Get What You Give

What goes around comes around. And so the karmic law goes.

I was wondering a few weeks ago if I had done something cosmically wrong because a bunch of shitty things happened to me all at once. I didn't understand! I'm a good person, I'm a good Samaritan, what had I done wrong? I felt like Earl from My Name is Earl, except I couldn't remember a host of bad things I had done.

So I think I earned some big cosmic points yesterday. It was raining and I took my morning trip down to Bagel Rising. When I got out of the car, a man standing next to his car with a flat tire approached me. He was missing the "bolt remover thingy" from his tire kit (those are my words, not his!) Not only did I lend it to him, but I stood over him with an umbrella so he could change the tire and not be sitting in the pouring rain.

He said to me afterwards, "Thank god there are good people in the world. I live at (insert his address here) and if you ever need help come and find me!"

Hopefully this will help things move in the right direction for me!

WOW, you really ARE a good samaritan. If I ever get a flat I'm calling you.
