Random Tuesday

*This weekend there were some figure skating championships on. They announced the Olympic Team but I couldn't help but think... wasn't that really late?!? The Olympics are in 3 weeks! Shouldn't they know who, what, when, where and why? It's not just a little getaway! It's the Olympics!

*A mother of one of my students is a yoga instructor and offered to come in twice a month to do a little yoga with the kiddos. While stretching and touching their toes, one of the students noticed that I was barely past my knees and said, "Ms. Sweeney! Your arms are too short!" LOL, I think that was the first time someone ever told me I had short arms.

*I have made an overdue appointment with my eye doctor. Since glasses, especially my glasses, are so expensive and I mostly wear my contacts, I haven't bought new glasses in over 10 years!! So I have been checking out some styles online, and I like this pair:


*It kind of freaks me out that Dakota Fanning is Cherie Currie in the upcoming Joan Jet movie,The Outlaws.
