And as my mother said on the phone "You sound totally relaxed." And I am. Who couldn't be relaxed after lounging around with sand beneath their toes for a whole week?

But in the meantime, I will give you my top moments of the trip:
1) I was bit by a fish. Yes, really! Right outside our hotel there were man-made-reefs that you could snorkel around. This odd man was feeding the fish and intentionally trying to get the schools of fish to swim past people so he could talk to them. When he did this maneuver with us, a fish must have thought I also had food in my hand and took a chunk out of my middle-knuckle!

2) We took a tour around the island. When we got into the bus the man mentioned the stops that we'd be making, and Chrissy asked in a slightly aspirated tone, "Are we going to Hell??" The guy kind of chuckled and said "Yes."
3) Oh the dreamy expats! This is an island that lives off tourism and people from around the world come to live and work there! First there was Lee the British waiter who came to our every beck and call on the beach. Then there was Andrew the Scottish sailer who brought us around for the sunset cruise on a catarmaran (okay, I say "us" but there were also 25 other people there haha!) And lastly, and perhaps my favorite was another waiter whose name we did not catch. We debated whether he had a Scottish brogue or some kind of latino accent! Regardless, I think he was the best waiter I've ever met: he was friendly and chipper and seemed like he loved his job! I'm not a huge dessert person, but he recommended we get this friend-banana-caramel dessert which was a-maz-ing! There was plenty of eye-candy on the island to go around!
4) One night we stayed in and had a game night. We played Chinese checkers in the lobby, a game in which I won. We then played a (very long) game of Rummy 500, in which KB won. On the way back to the room I suggested KB and I race to break the tie. KB suggested we have a cartwheel contest (for those of you who don't know, I've never done a cartwheel in my life!) and proceeded to cartwheel down the hallway. I have a picture of this, but lets just say I'm not sure my friendship with KB would last if I published it for the world to see.
5) Chrissy and I were asked only four times if we were sisters. (Actually, we were asked 2 times if "ya'll sisters or some-tin'?) We were discussing why people feel the need to ask this. One woman asked us as we were checking in our luggage at the airport, we weren't even really talking to her! Chrissy and I were both saying we don't think we've every asked someone in public if they were sisters. It's just so random!
Stay tuned, there will be more to come!
