I stole this New Years survey from Beth. Here's a look at 2007, which was a damn good year!
1. What did you do in 2007 that you’d never done before?
Lived all by myself!
2. Did you keep your new year’s resolutions, and will you make more for next year? I did! Last year my resolution was to sing more at work and thanks to Chrissy, I have incorporated a few new songs. I was thinking yesterday of what my resolution would be this year, an as of now I have "nothin."
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Yes, we welcomes Agnes Rose as well as Cormac into the wonderful world! Being an Auntie is fun!
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Thankfully no.
5. What countries did you visit?
Oh you know those Americans, they don't travel anywhere. In 2008 I would like to visit Beijing to see Jen and Will!
6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007?
A tropical get away.
7. What dates from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
May 31-- the day I closed on my condo.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
See #7.
9. What was your biggest failure?
Not stopping biting my nails.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Thankfully no!
11. What was the best thing you bought?
My furniture and everything else decorative!
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Chrissy is always someone whose behavior should be merited.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
All the celebrity starlets who think they're above the law and are poisoning the minds of our youth!!!
14. Where did most of your money go?
Living. (ditto Beth)
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
What don't I get really excited about??
16. What song will always remind you of 2007?
This is Why I'm Hot, more specifically it will remind me of KB in 2007.
17. Compared to this time last year, are you: (a) happier or sadder? (b) thinner or fatter? (c) richer or poorer?
(A) Happier personally, Sadder professionally.
(B) Thinner, due to stress at work
(C) I lead a rich life :)
18. What do you wish you’d done more of?
Reading

Watching bad reality TV.
20. How did you spend Christmas?
With the family in New York.
21. Did you fall in love in 2007?
I did fall in love with living alone. I thought I wouldn't be able to handle it, but it's great!

Heroes!
23. Do you hate anyone now that you didn’t hate this time last year?
There have not been any 2007 candidates for my black-list.

Willful Creatures by Aimee Bender
25. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Hm. too many to name! I strive on always finding new music to listen too! I guess I would have to say New Buffalo though, I really dig her album and only discovered her because she opened up for Stars.
26. What did you want and get?
Someone to go to concerts with.
27. What did you want and not get?
A winning lotto ticket.
28. What was your favorite film of this year?
I can't really think of all the movies I've seen, so lets just say Gone Baby Gone because it was engaging.

30. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
A winning lotto ticket.
31. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2007?
Trying to decide the happy medium of age appropriate yet still current. Can a 27 year old pull of the leggings with a denim skirt? It's still debatable.
32. What kept you sane?
Living with Chrissy and KB: God bless those girls for living with me for so long!
33. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
As Kevin has said, I like the tall awkward type: Adam Brody!
34. What political issue stirred you the most?
Is it cliche to say Darfur?
35. Who did you miss?
My family and friends who don't live in Boston.

I've made it my New Year's mission to find out more about New Buffalo. I ADORE "cheer me up thank you" and I'm trying to get my hands on her latest album... no luck so far; not sure it's been released in Ireland yet.
also: No trips to Ireland planned in 08?
