I had intentions of going to the beach today, but after many nights of little sleep I decided to sleep until noon today. It was great.
My labor day weekend was awesome. Friday night I went out to one of my favorite Boston bars, Middlesex, with a few coworkers. Emily brought her new beau, John, who tore up the dance floor with us!
Saturday I woke up and realized it was September 1st in Boston. This is a nightmare of a day as all the BC and BU students move back into the area. It is also known as Attack of the UHauls. I had to go to Molly's house and it took me over 20 minutes where it usually takes about 5. Here are some shots that I tried to take while stuck in traffic, which I don't feel fully capture the amount of UHauls there really are in the area.
Besides uhauls there are plenty of pick-up trucks loaded with mattresses and futons. All around my area there are little side roads that are divided from the main road by islands of grass. These islands become parking lots for those moving, as seen here:
But September 1st was also a very happy day! I was on my way to Molly's to pick up some of her Chicago crew to head to Liz and Mike's wedding! Liz and I went to Providence together and worked together for 3 years on BOP. Ironically, after graduating PC, Liz decided to do a volunteer teaching program in Chicago which was where she met Molly! They lived together for several years until recently when Molly moved to Boston and Liz to Baltimore!

The wedding was a ton of fun because I knew all the Chicago peeps, Providence friends and even Liz's cousin John! The whole wedding was great and I had an awesome time hanging out with all the Chicago folk. I didn't take any pictures (I left my camera at the hotel!) so as I get more I will be sure to post them!
Today is my last day of freedom and I'm back to work tomorrow! I know I shouldn't complain but, uuuuug!
