Updated Confession

Awhile ago I posted my list of books that I had to read. I'm happy to report that I finally read one! Nicole lent me her copy of The Thirteenth Tale which she read with the school book club.

After a weekend of plowing through it on the beach, I also recommend it as a good summer read. It started out a tad slow and I would have put it down except that it had come highly recommended. After I had read about five chapters, I was totally engrossed in the twists and turns of the current characters and the story of the past being told. I appreciated the ending which tied up all loose ends and left me content with the knowing everything (ha). I highly recommend this book if you haven't read a "different" sort of mystery in a while.
