Chris is my 2nd oldest friend to Molly. We've known each other for 20 years!! I was going to post a picture of her from 7th grade, the notorious perm with bangs phase, but I couldn't find one. I think maybe they've all been burned...Our friendship began in Hampton Bays back in the 80's. We enjoyed swimming and playing tag in the pool where we were sure to call Time Outs for Everyone! We also made up a variety of games including underwater charades and silent marco polo.
Later in life we both attended Providence College. Chrissy lived on the 9th floor of McVinney while I lived on the 2nd. We joined the two floors together to form the group of friends we have today!
Besides our good looks, we have a lot of other things in common as well. We're both kindergarten teachers, our parents are good friends, we appreciate art, our sisters got married within a few months of each other and we enjoy traveling. Our first traveling experience was in 2001 when we studied abroad in Florence together.
More recently, with our summers off, we drove to California and back. Everyone thought we'd come back no longer friends, but we did! We also came back with a shared fondness of South Dakota! It's a great state!!
Through the years we've shared many great memoriesbirthdays....

That was so sweet Feeney! I love the post and what you wrote. I'm really glad you didn't find a picture of me from 7th grade with my bangs and braces. That would be completely mortifying. Thanks for the birthday wishes. You're a great friend!
