I'm leaving on a jet plane...

Ben is away this week.  He's going back to where he left a little bit of his soul: Lake Tahoe!  I think I was as excited for the trip as he was because I know he loved his time there and misses skiing so much.  He's staying with old friends, will hopefully see some family and eat at the restaurant he worked at.  

I feel like a week away shouldn't be dramatic, heck I go to New York all the time.  But it feels like a long time after getting use to seeing him everyday!  Last week on How I Met Your Mother, Lily bought a body pillow.  Marshall had been in Minnesota for awhile helping him mom after his father passed away.  Slowly she started to get more attached to the body pillow and started to dress it up:

Last weekend I visited my family and took Ben into Manhattan for the first time.  We had a whirl wind tour.  See the pictures here of our great weekend!  (Oh, the bruise on Bernadette's eye?  Totally not from me letting her fall off the couch. Nope.) 

The next day my whole body was sore.  I felt so old that after a day of walking around the city I was that sore!  But then I spent the next 4 days in bed with a fever.  I'm glad it wasn't that I was getting too old!
