Last night I hosted a book exchange at my place. Recently I was looking for a good book and usually ask my friends for recommendations! So, I decided to invite the ladies over, enticed them with food and ask them to bring a book or two to exchange!
Chrissy of course brought her main man Nick Sparks along.
Each of us too a turn to talk about our book and why we thought it was a good read. It was sort of like an adult book report. We all scored new interesting reads and I am excited to have a stack of books!
The only slip up was when KB spilled an entire glass of red wine on my carpet. Luckily I had some white wine laying around: if you pour it on the red wine it helps lessen the stain! With some team work and fine blotting I think my rug will be just fine.
Hopefully we'll do another one, but not too soon since we need time to read our new books!

bummed i couldn't make it - hope there is a next time:) i'm itching for some new good reads!
While I enjoyed the play Wicked, the book left a lot to be desired, quite conversely I loved The Notebook in print, but didn't care for Rachel McAdams movie version.
