Last weekend I joined Ben's friends on their yearly trip of camping and tubing in Charlemont, MA. I've never been camping or tubing so it was a weekend of firsts for me.

Ben bought a new "dining canopy" that was a pain in the butt to set up.
But after some blood, sweat and tears (well not really, just sweat!) we got the thing standing and protecting our dining area.
The campsite was beautiful since it sat right on the bank of the river. We enjoyed Kath's hor'dourves after a nice, cool off swim.


The best part of any camping trip is of course sitting fire side! As the sun set we enjoyed s'mores and some guitar playing. I also loved the star gazing: you just don't get that in the city.
Unfortunately that's about the extent of my photos!! I haven't been quite the photographer lately. That and the rest of the trip was mostly in the water!! But for those of you looking for a little nature and a little adventure, tubing is something you should check out!
