Jeremy is still recovering from his surgery, so with the ice and snow it's been hard for him to get outside. He mentioned to me yesterday that he wanted to get Rosetta Stone. He then proceeded on a tangent about how well he knows all infomercials and one day I'm going to find him wearing a Snuggie, juicing and then cleaning it all up with a Sham-Wow.
I couldn't stop laughing.
On a different, not laughable note, I almost got in a fight at the MFA. The museum is under a lot of construction so different wings are closed and even with the map, it is a bit tricky to get around. I stopped to ask a museum worker to point us in the direction of the Contemporary wing.
Museum Girl: Are you looking for contemporary or modern art?
Me: Well, either. (thinking, the modern wing is physically near contemporary so point me to one and I can get to the other.)
MG: (in quite a tone) Well, Modern Art is different than Contemporary. Modern art is artwork like Monet and European artists from the turn of the century. Are you looking to see Monet?
Me: No, I'm looking for things like Pollock and art since 1945. Contemporary Art.
MG: Oh, well there is one Pollock if you go up....
Me: I don't want to just see Pollock. I want to see Contemporary Art.
MG: Well, due to the construction the Contemporary Wing is closed.
Me: Okay, thanks.
HELLO! That was the answer to my first question! I don't need a condescending art history lesson!! When someone asks for the Contemporary Wing just tell them its closed!!
Jeremy: Wow, you were really mad. I've never seen you like that.

I own a Sham Wow! Someone gave it to me, but I haven't tried it yet.
