The Big 2-9

Wow, what a weekend!! The celebration of the "last year of my twenties" was a success. I was super excited for the events but earlier in the week Elena and I discussed our anxieties: what if everything didn't go as planned? What if it wasn't fun?? Well, we were silly to be so anxious. The night was a-maz-ing!

My high school friends Vanessa and Angeline came up to visit and celebrate. We spent the day wandering around Newbury Street and the Public Garden. (Marisa came and met us that evening)

This was the first time a lot of people were meeting each other. Nicole, high school friends and my college gang were going to all be in the same room for the first time. The blog acted as the ultimate ice breaker! Everyone felt as though they knew each other from seeing familiar faces in my entries.

After some appetizers and drinks at Elena's place we headed to one of my favorite places: the Middlesex Lounge in Cambridge. I always have a good time at this place.

I was thinking afterwards it was ironic that Pete sported his Abe Lincoln sweatshirt to a birthday event for me: Abe's birthday is the day before mine and he is also thought to have had Marfan Syndrome.

The whole night I kept thinking, "I have to quote that on the blog. I have to quote that.... that was funny I have to remember that." There were so many funny moments that now I can't even remember any to report back. Thanks for everyone who made it such a fun night!

Go here to check out more pictures from the evening.

Now only 358 till the big 3-0.
