*I realize more and more that the days of calling people by "Mr. and Mrs." are rapidly fading. Beyond school teachers I don't know many children who call adults by their proper last names.
*This weekend Jeremy and I saw Seven Pounds. I heard it got bad reviews but I thought it was good. Granted, it might be a movie you could suffice in renting over running out to see, but it was good none the less. I can't really go into detail as it a movie that reveals more of the plot as it moves along. I think that's what I liked about it, I like movies that I have to keep thinking about rather then totally predicting every turn. It was definitely not like any other story I've seen in a movie!
My only suggestion is if you're going in to have major surgery and will be spending some time in a hospital you should skip it. If I knew that before hand, we probably would have picked a different movie to see!!!
*On the movie's soundtrack was Muse's cover of Nina Simone's Feeling Good. It's a great track, check it out.
*Another New York-ism I realized while I was home was the six-foot hero:
My cousins and I got together and ordered food from a local pizzeria. People in New England don't buy large subs to feed a party!!

We also don't call them a "hero". It's a sub or a grinder. :)
i know, I wrote that on purpose.
