This past weekend, Jen's friend Kate (Kate count, 1) hosted us in Portland, Maine for a weekend of bachelorette fun!! I've never been to Portland and it was a beautiful city!! I loved the entire weekend and if it wasn't so far away I'd move there!!
Usually I try to pick some highlights to write about. The whole weekend was so great I can't edit anything out!! Friday night we all trickled up after work. We had an amazing dinner at an Italian restaurant called Cinque Terra. We all but closed the place and thought it'd be the quieter of the two nights, but the night didn't unfold that way!! We went dancing at a bar and met up with a guy named Ben with his bachelor party.

They had t-shirts and everything!! They were a fun bunch. Over the summer while at Hampton we almost witnessed a dance off. Friday night we witnessed an ACTUAL one! I'm not sure who really came out the winner, all I know is there were some crazy (not good crazy) moves including a poor showing of the worm and a
crip-walk of sorts.

The highlight of the dance off being Jen jumping in, showing off her
herkie skills and dancing to Salt and Peppa's
Push It.

The next day we went for a walk around Kate's neighborhood. We took a walk up to a observation point, enjoyed some coffee and watched her dog have some fun of her own!

Some photos from around town...

We then headed to Whole Foods for a lesson on making sushi!! Going in I was a bit indifferent to this as I don't eat sushi, but the lesson ended up being a blast!! We had this young guy, Dan, teaching us who we heard was nervous to teach the class. He did a great job and think we ended up making his day.

It was so much fun and even I ate some of the (fish free) sushi! (Kate count, 2)

We made inside out rolls that had crab, cucumber and avocado in them as well as this other type (I can't remember the official name) that had just cucumber in it.

After our Asian cuisine, it was off to a Mexican inspired pre-party! Back at the house Kate made home made margaritas.

We presented Jen with a bag for the honeymoon. We each went around and told a fun memory of her and had a lot of laughs, and of course some sappy tears!

Then we headed to Peaks Island to the Inn for dinner. The food, again, was amazing!!! I had a delicious beef strew and KB indulged in the Lobster (Kate count, 3)

After dinner we were off for a night of dancing at Una. Jen's tiara had a little casualty, but it still did the trick.

Chrissy and Caty (Kate Count, 4)
Elena and Emily (The MOH!)
We had a fun sleep over in Kate's two bedroom apartment. Yes, that's 11 girls in one apartment!! It was cozy and fun.

Thanks Emily and Kate for planning such a fun weekend!
