Gimme Speed

My Jeep is 11 years old. It still has some life in it, but I have come to terms that it is slowly dying. The back windshield wiper no longer works, the dashboard back light comes on and off as it pleases, and in the last few months it has needed about $700 worth of "fixing."

So I've been doing a little research, just in case. And if in my dreams the "car fairy" came and said "Kate, what car would you like?" My answer would be a Mazda Speed 3.

I like hatchbacks, and I still want something as sporty as my jeep but with much better gas milage! I want it all: quick but economical; athletic but comfortable; sporty but practical.

I also think it'd be really cool if the Car Fairy taught me how to drive stick. I've always wanted to learn!
