The only problem was it was 100 degrees and humid. Elena was cracking me up with one liners, and as the sun was beating directly down on us she said "Note to self. Next time we decide to come to a game on a 100 degree day lets make sure we get tickets down the third base line and not the first."

Once the sun set we were in much better spirits and could actually enjoy the game.

Elena also noted after I turned down the third beer that she doesn't like to drink alone, in public. It was a good thing I turned down the third beer because I ran into two families from the school I work at.
Even at Fenway the fans were cheering on the Celtics (for the record, Elena would still like to be known as Elena Allen) They were chanting Beat L-A and the girl next to me, who we later learned had moved to Boston that day, asked me "What does E-L-A mean?" I had to explain it had nothing to do with the Red Sox and they were chanting Beat LA.

On a side note, the girl sitting next to me had walked up to the ticket booth and asked if they had any tickets left. The guy asked where she was from and when she mentioned she had moved to Boston that day, he gave her free tickets!! Who says people in Boston aren't nice!!
The Sox ended up loosing, as did the Celtics. Better luck next time!
