Like a Stone

Stefan and I went to see the new Scorsese movie about the Rolling Stones: Shine a Light. We saw it as an IMAX which, if you're interested in seeing the movie, I recommend you do! The sound was awesome and the filming was amazing. I enjoyed the ironic clips Scorsese wove throughout the movie of the Stones in their youth.

The Stones invited a few musicians to do duets with them. Stefan really enjoyed Jack White's performance and Christina Aguilera, well the girl can sing!

Things I gained from the movie:
1) Mick Jagger is an animal. He is a spry old guy, and so skinny!
2) If I could pick a musician to spend a day with, it is now Keith Richards.
3) Stefan continues to be horrified at my lack of knowledge of classic rock. At least I know who the Rolling Stones are!
