EST

Last night I had so much fun! I went with my neighbors Jeremy, LT and Red to a bar with a bunch of Jeremy's friends. I haven't been made to laugh so hard by a group of people in so long.

The night had started off comical before it even started through a series of miscommunications between Jeremy and I.

First off, he told me he had someone from work that he wanted me to meet. I take that as "meet" as in "someone you might like, kind of meet." In later conversations he mentions Gretchen. I say "Who's that?" and he says "The girl from work I want you to meet." hahaha, oops!

Then when Jeremy picked the place he sent an e-mail that said 7:30, Eastern Standard. I thought "Is he trying to be funny? What other time zone would it be?" But then I realized that was the NAME of the bar!

I really enjoyed Eastern Standard. After a party downtown last week I felt really "over" the Boston bar scene. But this bar was really nice and was beyond the typical pub and Mexican restaurants I feel I've been going to lately. We sat outside on the patio in big comfy chairs and since the night air was a little chilly, they had heat lamps on. We ordered a few swanky appetizers and as mentioned, I really enjoyed myself!

Tonight my social life continues with a birthday party for Andy and an apartment roof party at Elena's! What a way to end the vacation.
