Hey All! It's been a pretty quiet week and I really haven't had anything interesting to post about! School has been MUCH better overall. Yesterday I worked at the Beantown Jazz Festival with my friend Julie. Ironically, this other girl was working who use to teach with Julie and I. It was good to catch up with her! Unfortunately I left my camera at school so I don't have any pictures.
The festival was really great. If you live in the area I'd definitely stop by next year. Julie and I worked at the Target family tent. We gave away little canvas totes and kids could decorate them with fabric markers. Our only instructions were only one per child and they weren't for adults. We failed at enforcing those two rules!
Julie and I had a lunch break and walked around the festival a bit. We saw the biggest dogs ever! We saw 2 Great Danes, one of which was up to my chest. Then we saw 3 St. Bernard's (which took us a few minutes to think of what they were called) that were the size of large hog! After that we bought Hot Dogs and when we realized THEY were insanely large as well we couldn't stop laughing!
The weather was beautiful and it was nice to see so many families out enjoying Boston! My feet hurt by the end of the day but it was easy money to make!
