What Have You Been Doing With Your Summer? Part II

I've been in and out of town a lot the last few weeks. Now that August is upon me and I'm looking at being away next week followed by teaching summer school the following week, I realized I needed to get my butt in gear and paint my living room! A lot of people have offered to help but it's just too hard in the summer trying to schedule getting a few people over. So I decided to make the push and try and get it done today and tomorrow. It worked out that today is chilly and rainy, perfect painting weather!

Here's the progress: color on the left is the new color. It's kind of a greensih-khaki and did not come out that way in the photo.
And here I am with my bandanna and living room that's in chaos.

You're going to have to come over and help whenever we get around to buying a place! In fact, I'll promise to paint the bottoms if you and Larry promise to paint the tops!!

Cool telly!

Any advice for a soon to be new-home owner?

Before your closing, be on top of as many things as you can be! I made a ton of phone calls and asked a million questions and I'm sure bugged a lot of people! But my closing was smooth sailings!

Once it's yours, take friends up on "Oh if you need help with anything.."
