Change, Change, Change

My school had beautiful, bright red doors. I loved them and I felt they were part of the charm of our school. They were even incorporated into the art work I did for my master's thesis:


Also, our school is really old. The schools in Arlington are being rebuilt but Thompson won't be done any time soon. But in an effort to maintain the building, it was repainted this summer. This included the front doors being painted FOREST GREEN! I couldn't get over it when I saw them!! I don't think the new principal chose the color or anything but I feel like its such a physical change for the building! One I wasn't prepared for! :( :(
