I love March Madness (not to be confused with Marc Madness), I love college basketball and I especially love my Friars!
Tonight is the first round of the Big East Tournament and it's been a surprising season for Friar fans. Overall they've played better than expected, which is better than the other way around. Unfortunately a bad loss to St. John's the other night put us in a bad position for the first round of the Big East tournament: we're playing West Virginia. We pulled out with a win against them earlier in the year so hopefully we can do it again!
I'm proud of our Friars and hopefully I will be surprised by their performance tonight.
If only our Mascot didn't look like this.
We need to bring back the Dalmatian!

Ha. There were three until Gerald (Mal) Brown left. The others would be Ray Hall and McDermott.
