The Weekend of Presidents

My sister, Karen and her husband, Joe came up to visit for the long weekend. I'm not sure if I've ever packed so much into 3 days (hence the lack of posts) But now I'm bummed because I'm in New York but left my camera cord in Boston, so this post will have pictures added later in the week.

Friday Night: I was able to grab a bite to eat with Theresa, who was also visiting, as Karen and Joe arrived after mid-night due to the Jet Blue Fiasco

Saturday: Breakfast at my favorite breakfast place in Somerville: Sound Bites
Karen joined me on my first attempt to find a condo!
Karen, Joe and I met Joe's Uncle Bud at Z Square , a new hot spot in Harvard Square. We enjoyed fine food, fine company, fine articulation but not very good service!

Sunday: We met Gavin, one of Karen's college friends at the ICA and Karen and Joe bought me a membership for my birthday! Yahoo! That night we had an impromptu dinner party with some of Karen's Hamilton friends! I made a black bean soup, Karen and Joe whipped up some chicken parm and Molly completed the dinner with a salad and some bread! (no pictures, my camera died!)

Monday: I drove Karen and Joe back to the New York area yesterday and am now on school vacation for the week!

Also mixed in were a few visits to other friends and babies in the area. I don't think I've been around so many pregnant women in one weekend!
