Don't stop, believing

Ahh yes, Providence Basketball. One of my great loves in life. Kev organized a mini road trip to the Providence v. Uconn game in Hartford. Pete and Mitch drove up from Jersey and Jonny came from NY via Fairfield. It was a great game involving many laughs and good company!

We were in the last row of the Civic Center.... they have TV's up there because you can't really see the scoreboard!

The guys weren't really enthused about taking a picture at half time (we were down by 11, sorry Jon got cut out of the picture!)

I forgot to take an after shot since we were pumped we won!! Uconn didn't score the first 5 minutes of the 2nd half and Providence dominated with a series of dunks. Jonny was jumping out of his seat yelling "This is awesome!" I was complimented for coming up with the comment "They should rename THIS place The Dunk." Pete brought on a Mexican inspired 3-point dance while Kev was entertaining with his usual funny banter. Mike cheered and chanted as he lived it up as a Friar fanatic.

Props to Kevin for planning the trip! It was a great day in Friar sports!

Strangely enough, the North American Sports Network says that it is putting this on tonight (Sunday) at 3am. Now that I know what I'm missing I guess I won't wait up for it! ;)
